Construction Features
General Specifications The standard empty housing and connection flanges of the EX line type series comprise of stainless steel pursuant to EN 10088. The housings and doors are produced of at least 1.25 mm thick stainless steel sheet 1.4301 or higher as canting and welding constructions depending on size and design. In addition to the closures, the doors can be screwed with multifunction nuts that are welded on outside of the sealing area. Bores and cut-outs can be applied to the door, rear wall, floor and the side walls. They serve to take up cable and line introductions only in the prescribed protection types. The flange plates are produced of at least 2.0 mm thick stainless steel sheet and screwed on tightly to the housing using EPDM form seals |
